FAQ
Common questions
- Why m/s and not cfm/bird?
- Tunnel design targets air speed over birds, not bulk cfm/bird. 2.5-3.0 m/s is standard for hot-climate broilers at end-of-flock; layer aviaries plan lower.
- Do inlets matter?
- Yes — inlet area and static pressure drive real cfm. Add ~15% to nameplate fan capacity for design safety.
