Poultry Project Financing — And The Equipment RFQ Providers Ask For
HatchMatch Group is a sourcing and business introduction platform — not a lender. We help eligible farms, integrators and project owners submit financing requirements for evaluation by an independent third-party financing provider covering equipment finance, leasing, export finance, trade finance, working capital and factoring.
HatchMatch Group is not a lender, bank, financial institution, credit provider, investment advisor, or regulated financial services provider. Financing requests submitted through this platform may, subject to user consent, be shared with independent third-party financing providers for evaluation purposes. Any financing approval, terms, pricing, underwriting, due diligence, eligibility criteria, provider requirements and contractual arrangements are determined solely by the financing provider. Financing is not guaranteed and remains subject to eligibility, compliance checks, and lender approval.
Third-Party Financing Introduction Only
HatchMatch Group is an independent procurement and project-preparation platform, not a lender, bank, credit provider or regulated financial services provider. Where a project may be eligible, we introduce the request — with the buyer’s explicit consent — to one or more independent third-party financing providers for their own evaluation.
Any financing approval, terms, pricing, underwriting, due diligence, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, timing and final contractual arrangements are determined solely by the independent financing provider(s). HatchMatch Group does not approve, reject, guarantee, fund or set any financing terms, and is not party to any financing agreement between the buyer and the provider.

Eligibility and document checklist
HatchMatch Group is not a lender, bank or regulated financial provider, and nothing here is an offer. Every financing request is subject to review and approval by an independent third-party provider. This is simply the file those providers normally ask for — projects that arrive with it complete get a decision far faster than projects that do not.
Who is usually eligible
- • Commercial poultry infrastructure project, typically from USD 250,000 upwards.
- • An identifiable sponsor or borrowing entity with an operating or financial track record.
- • A defined technical scope — capacity, house or plant count, equipment list — rather than an idea.
- • Equity or own contribution available; most structures expect the buyer to carry part of the cost.
- • A credible revenue route: integrator contract, off-take agreement, existing sales or a costed market plan.
- • Supplier of record identified or shortlisted, since export-credit structures depend on the country of manufacture.
Documents to prepare
| Document | Why it is asked for |
|---|---|
| Project summary | Scope, location, capacity, phasing and what the funds are for. |
| Itemised supplier quotation(s) | On frozen scope, with Incoterms and HS codes stated. |
| CAPEX breakdown | Equipment, civil works, utilities, freight and duty, installation and commissioning. |
| Financial projections | Production plan, feed and running costs, revenue, debt service capacity. |
| Company and ownership documents | Registration, shareholding, group structure, management profiles. |
| Historic financials | Usually two to three years where the borrower is an existing operation. |
| Land and permits | Title or lease, planning consent, environmental and nutrient-management approvals. |
| Off-take or integrator contract | Where revenue depends on a contract rather than open-market sales. |
Matching the structure to the project
| Structure | Where it usually fits |
|---|---|
| Equipment finance and leasing | Replacing or adding equipment on an operating farm; the asset itself is the security. |
| Export credit (ECA-backed) | Imported equipment from a single country of manufacture; supports longer tenors on larger packages. |
| Turnkey project finance | Greenfield builds where repayment is tied to the project's own cash flow. |
| Integrator-contract financing | Contract-grower houses where an integrator agreement underpins the revenue line. |
| Trade and working capital | Bridging raw material, day-old stock and feed cost between build and first revenue. |
Next step: send your project scope through the managed RFQ so the supplier quotations behind the financing file are comparable, or check your project readiness score first. Requests are reviewed internally before any introduction is made — HatchMatch does not connect buyers and providers automatically.
Lenders price a specified project, not an idea
Financing partners assess a costed scope. Fix the systems and the figures behind them first — the same tables the RFQ uses — then the funding request carries a defensible CAPEX.
- Layer house scope table
Housing, nests, egg collection, manure belts, ventilation and the rest — 14 systems.
- Broiler house scope table
What you decide per system and the figure a supplier needs to quote it.
- Hatchery scope table
Setters, hatchers, chick handling, climate, biosecurity and standby power.
- Standby power comparison
Generator, battery, solar and hybrid — decided before the ventilation spec.
- Solar and hybrid load table
The same 14 systems, mapped to what PV and storage can realistically carry.
- Solar and hybrid RFQ
PV capacity, storage, inverters and load integration — sent as one structured request.
HatchMatch reviews each request internally before any supplier introduction — it is not an open marketplace, and buyers and suppliers are never connected automatically.
See where financing fits in a full project
A stage-by-stage walk-through of a commercial broiler project — capacity definition, costed scope, one structured RFQ, comparison on scope, then the financing introduction running in parallel with the RFQ rather than after contract. Figures are indicative planning ranges used to show the sequence, not a specific client's confidential results and not a quotation.
