Minimum ventilation is the first variable

Ammonia accumulates when the minimum ventilation rate is below what is needed to remove moisture at the current bird age, weight and outside condition. Minimum ventilation is frequently reduced in cold weather to save heating fuel, which raises in-house humidity and directly increases ammonia release. What is the main cause of high ammonia in poultry houses?

Can equipment alone fix an ammonia problem?
