Nipple ratio and flow rate

Ten to twelve birds per nipple is the working figure to 2.4 to 2.8 kg, tightening to eight to ten at heavier Canadian target weights. Flow rises with age from roughly 20 to 30 ml per minute in week one to 70 to 90 ml per minute by day 35. State target flow at age in the RFQ rather than simply asking for nipple drinkers.

Pressure, height and litter quality

Well water and treatment
