Humidity sets the ceiling on cooling
At a Vietnamese design point of around 35 °C with 80% relative humidity, the wet-bulb sits near 28–29 °C, and evaporative pads cannot cool below it. Expect 4–7 °C, not the 12 °C achievable in dry heat. The consequence is that air velocity at bird level of about 2.8–3.2 m/s does most of the heat-stress work, and the controller must modulate pads on humidity so the house does not become a warm, saturated box in the afternoon.
