Stage 3: Configure climate, egg handling and power
The hottest design hour set the ventilation and cooling specification, sized against a full house of hens in lay rather than against an annual average. Insulation and sealing were specified with the same figure, because the envelope decides how hard the climate system works for the next twenty years.
