What cooling and heating does a poultry house need?
Heating covers brooding and cold-season temperature holding, using radiant brooders, hot-air furnaces or heat exchangers sized in kW per square metre of brooding area. Cooling uses evaporative pads or fogging, sized against summer design temperature, humidity and the airflow the ventilation system delivers. Both must be specified together with ventilation, not separately.
