Common questions
- What does the readiness score measure?
- It's a 25-question diagnostic across 7 dimensions — site, utilities, biosecurity, regulatory, financing, team and offtake. The score reflects how prepared your project is to survive supplier quotations, lender due diligence and first placement.
- Is a low score bad?
- No — it's diagnostic. A 40/100 project simply has more preparation work before locking equipment specs or a lender. HatchMatch is buyer-first: we'd rather flag gaps now than let them derail your commissioning.
- Is this a substitute for a feasibility study?
- No. It's a Class-4 planning tool, not a bankable document. Bankable feasibility requires supplier quotes, engineering drawings and a full P&L.
- Do you share my answers with suppliers?
- No. Answers stay in your browser. When you request quotes we only send the intent, capacity and country — never your internal readiness score.
- What should I do next after scoring?
- Work through the flagged gaps top-down (heaviest dimensions first), then run the calculators, biosecurity checklist and financing pre-qualifier before opening RFQs.
