What does the integrated poultry project calculator estimate?
It sizes a complete commercial poultry project from your bird capacity: number of houses, birds per house, feed, water, ventilation, cooling pads, silos, standby generator and annual production, plus feed mill, hatchery, processing and cold storage capacity when selected. It also gives an indicative farm CAPEX band. Every figure is a planning estimate, not a quotation.
Are the results a price quote?
No. The farm CAPEX band uses the same published per-bird assumptions as our Farm Cost Calculator with a ±30% planning range. Feed mill, hatchery, processing and cold storage are sized but not priced. Real prices come only from supplier quotations against a written scope.
Which standards are the sizing figures based on?
Common published planning figures: stocking densities from breed guides and EU welfare rules, feed and water ratios from breed management guides, and tunnel-ventilation practice of 3–5 m³/h per kg live weight with 1.8 m/s pad face velocity. Your engineer should confirm them for your site.
