Hatchery planning

Hatchery planning wizard — from egg intake to chick output.

Turn weekly egg-set into setter/hatcher count, chick output, floor area, thermal load and biosecurity zoning. Vendor-neutral capacity bands so you can compare any industrial cabinet class.

Suggested biosecurity zoning

  1. Dirty side — egg reception, egg holding at 18–20°C, egg-transfer to setter trays.
  2. Setter hall — restricted access, positive-pressure with HEPA-grade filtration on intake.
  3. Transfer room — one-way flow from setter to hatcher; UV or fogging airlock.
  4. Hatcher hall — sealed from setter side; independent HVAC to contain fluff and pathogens.
  5. Clean side — chick take-off, sexing, vaccination, boxing, dispatch.
  6. Wash & waste — separate return corridor; wash effluent isolated from clean rooms.
