Short answer
More birds per cycle is a housing and services question. Before assuming new houses, check whether ventilation, cooling, feed, water, power and waste handling can carry a higher simultaneous load — in most farms one of those services binds long before the building does.

What to collect first
- Number of houses and internal dimensions of each
- Current birds placed per house per cycle
- Stocking basis you operate to (contract, national rule or integrator standard)
- Installed fan capacity, cooling type and air inlet arrangement
- Feed silo volume and delivery frequency
- Water source, storage and line capacity
- Transformer rating and generator cover
- Manure handling and, on layer sites, egg handling throughput

Simultaneous capacity is limited by the weakest service
A house that physically fits more birds will not perform if airflow, water flow or feeder space does not scale with them. Review each service against the higher load separately, and treat the lowest one as the real capacity of the site until it is upgraded.
Adding houses on an existing site
Adding houses to a working farm is normally cheaper per added bird place than a new site because land, access, power, water and staff already exist. The limits are separation distances, grid and water headroom, feed storage, and whether biosecurity allows construction alongside live flocks.
