How UN Global Marketplace poultry procurement works
UNGM aggregates procurement from FAO, WFP, UNDP, UNOPS and other UN agencies. Poultry notices are typically emergency and resilience packages: day-old chicks, small-holder poultry kits, feed, vaccines, and occasionally hatchery or feed-milling equipment for a national programme. Suppliers must register on UNGM before bidding.

Do I need to register to bid on UNGM?
Yes. UNGM registration with the correct UNSPSC codes is required, and many agencies only invite registered vendors to restricted tenders.
Are UNGM poultry lots large enough for a manufacturer?
Many are relief-scale supply lots, but national resilience programmes do procure hatchery and feed-milling equipment, and long-term agreements can be worth more than a single award.
