How IFC poultry procurement works
IFC lends to and invests in private poultry integrators rather than running public tenders. Procurement is therefore commercial: the sponsor selects equipment, and IFC's involvement shows up as corporate procurement notices, advisory mandates and consultant assignments. For equipment suppliers the entry point is the sponsor, not a bidding portal.
The sponsor runs a commercial tender or negotiated purchase against its own specification.
IFC applies environmental, social and biosecurity performance standards to the design.
Corporate and consultant assignments are published on IFC's procurement pages.
Equipment typically procured

IFC poultry procurement — questions buyers ask
Does IFC publish poultry equipment tenders?
Rarely. IFC finances private sponsors, so the equipment purchase is a commercial process run by the sponsor. IFC's own published notices are mostly corporate and consultancy assignments.
How do suppliers reach IFC-backed projects?
By tracking announced investments and approaching the sponsor's project team directly, usually 6–12 months before equipment ordering.
