Marketplace Rules

These Marketplace Rules govern conduct on the HatchMatch Group B2B marketplace and supplement the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy. HatchMatch Group is an independent sourcing platform and is not a party to any commercial contract concluded between users.

1. Neutrality & independence

HatchMatch Group is an independent B2B marketplace. HatchMatch Group is not a poultry farm, hatchery, breeder, veterinarian, engineering company, equipment manufacturer, installer, feed or vaccine supplier, logistics provider, insurer or financing institution. HatchMatch Group only facilitates introductions and marketplace services.

2. Accurate representations

Buyers and suppliers must publish only accurate, current and lawful information about themselves, their projects, their products and their certifications. Misleading claims about capacity, certifications, factory location, ownership, references or performance are prohibited.

3. Comparable quoting

Suppliers must respond to RFQs on the specifications, Incoterms, warranty and delivery schedule requested, and must clearly disclose any deviation. Buyers must not misuse quotes for price-benchmarking without a genuine sourcing intent.

4. Off-platform circumvention

Where introductions are subject to platform fees, parties must not deliberately circumvent HatchMatch Group by concluding equivalent transactions off-platform to avoid those fees. This does not restrict pre-existing relationships documented before introduction.

5. Communications

Communications between users must remain professional. Harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, mass unsolicited outreach, and sharing of another user's personal data without consent are prohibited.

6. Ratings, references & reviews

Ratings, references and reviews must be genuine and based on real transactions. Fabricated, purchased or coerced feedback, and retaliatory or defamatory content, are prohibited.

7. Listings & content

Users grant HatchMatch Group a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, index, translate and excerpt user-submitted content for the sole purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace. Users represent that they own or have all rights necessary to grant that licence. See IP Policy.

8. Featured & sponsored placements

Certain placements may be featured, sponsored or priority-ranked and will be labelled where required by law. Featured placement is not endorsement, certification or verification by HatchMatch Group of any supplier or product.

9. Enforcement

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HatchMatch Group may review, request documentation, warn, restrict, suspend, delist, terminate or permanently ban any user, listing, RFQ or content that violates these Rules, at any time, with or without prior notice, where appropriate.

10. Governing law

These Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus with exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cyprus.
