This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every user of the HatchMatch Group platform. It supplements the Terms of Service. HatchMatch Group is an independent B2B marketplace and sourcing platform operated from the Republic of Cyprus.
1. Prohibited activities
You must not use the platform in connection with, and HatchMatch Group may review, request documentation, refuse, restrict, suspend, terminate or permanently ban any user or content involving, where appropriate and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Fraud, deception, misrepresentation or false pretences.
- Fake, shell or non-existent companies; false farm, capacity, ownership or project information.
- Identity theft, account takeover, impersonation of a person, company or authority.
- Animal welfare violations, cruel practices, illegal livestock trade, unregulated slaughter or trade in protected species.
- Counterfeit, cloned, unauthorised, non-conforming or recalled products, or products lacking mandatory certification.
- Sanctions violations, prohibited end-users, prohibited end-uses, or attempted circumvention of sanctions or export controls.
- Money laundering, layering, structuring, terrorist financing, proliferation financing or unexplained sources of funds.
- Bribery, corruption, kickbacks, facilitation payments or undue advantage of any kind.
- Intellectual-property infringement, trademark misuse, unauthorised use of images, catalogues, brochures, drawings or trade secrets.
- Marketplace abuse — spam, mass unsolicited outreach, fake RFQs, fake quotes, rating manipulation, review-fraud, harassment, threats or discrimination against other users or staff.
- Circumvention of platform fees, off-platform dealing after introduction where fees apply, or contract interference.
- Scraping, crawling, harvesting, unauthorised automation, reverse-engineering, denial-of-service, credential-stuffing or any attempt to access non-public areas.
- Uploading malware, exploit code, illegal content or content that violates the privacy of a third party.
- Any other violation of applicable law or of these policies.
2. Documentation & verification
HatchMatch Group may request identity documents, company registration, VAT / tax IDs, ultimate-beneficial-ownership information, source-of-funds evidence, end-use statements, export licences, veterinary or biosecurity certifications, and any other documentation, where appropriate. HatchMatch Group may withhold or delay service pending verification and may reject requests without disclosing the reason.
3. Reporting abuse
Report suspected fraud, counterfeit products, sanctions concerns, IP infringement, animal welfare issues, security incidents or abusive users to abuse@hatchmatchgroup.com. Security vulnerabilities: see Responsible Disclosure.
4. Enforcement
Consequences of an AUP breach may include warning, content removal, listing removal, feature restriction, account suspension, permanent ban, reversal of introductions, retention or forwarding of information to competent authorities, and civil or criminal action. HatchMatch Group reserves all rights and remedies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Governing law
This AUP is governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus with exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Cyprus.
